Nash is a local who attended and played sports at Fredericktown High School and went on to play baseball at Ashland University - ultimately leading to a degree in business management. A third generation insurance agent and business owner. Both his father and grandfather were licensed agents / agency owners in Mount Vernon Ohio. Nash coached JV baseball at Fredericktown this past fall and looks forward to becoming more active inside the Knox county community and more specifically Apple Valley.
Together Nash & Merry established AV Insurance Group - DBA Vasbinder Insurance. They plan on keeping the name to start as tribute to former owner and current business consultant Steve Vasbinder.
They look forward to increasing their market presence, updating the office, and providing additional carriers to help broaden their ability to serve the community's insurance needs!

Merry has been an agent for Vasbinder Insurance since 2010 and has a degree in Business Administration. She has been the main point of contact for policy holders and was essential to keep in the transfer. Upon transfer of ownership Merry became a minority owner, she deserved it! Merry grew up in the area, she graduated from East Knox and also attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Her niece and nephew currently attend school at East Knox. She is married to a preaching minister and has three children. With two having graduated from Fredericktown and one still attending. Her children have been involved in band and athletic programs. She looks forward to continuing to serve the local community. And is excited to work with new insurance carriers to enable the agency to better meet the insurancece needs of the community for personal and commercial insurance.
